Clementine is trying for the sake of her family to get into the spirit of the first Christmas without her beloved brother Bryce, and failing miserably. One knock at the door will bring her face to face with a man that is hard to ignore, both because of the information he comes bearing about Bryce, and because of the attraction that instantly springs up between them. She has plans for her future, and is on the brink of seeing them all realized, and a tattooed military commando certainly does not fit her requirements for the prince charming needed to achieve her ten year plan. But soon she begins to wonder if her brother really knew what he was doing all along?

Fallen soldier Bryce’s kid sister, Clementine has been the origin of an unforeseen situation for Jett. He was just stopping by the hometown of his covert operations fellow soldier to uphold his vow to the deceased combatant. This of course was a very important obligation and 2 other soldiers went along with him to honor Bryce. Hardship is nothing new to Jett. Being that the military is basically his whole life there was no room for anything else. You can imagine he was taken for a tail spin when Clementine came into the picture. On the other end of the stick, Jett was not the type of guy that Clementine thought would come into her life and she wasn’t expecting the chemistry between them. All this amounts to her wondering about her brother. This is a moving story with a great plot and a lot of sentiment intertwined. The characters are realistic and relatable. It made me think of the saying when God closes a door somewhere he opens a window. Loved this story!Product details

Strong characters. Like able characters. Leaves a few blanks that leave me hanging. I like the overall writing of this author.
"A Soldier's Promise, Vow and now the Oath." A great series of stories that reveals an
extraordinary group of dedicated soldiers along with the families involved. Excellent reading!
This is what you would want to expect in a real life scenario.
This one is just as good as the first book I read by this very talented author. I only hope she continues to write because I want to read all her books. I just love all the characters and feel like they could be my best friends. If this genre is one you enjoy, you owe it to yourself to read this author.
This is the third of the series of three soldiers fulfilling promise made to their fallen comrade and how, from each of the soldier's point of view it enhanced their lives and the lives of their comrades' family and friends.
I have to say, I love this series. If you enjoy military romance, you will love it as well. Well written, it has a very real feel to it with the relationships developing in real time and believable situations.
I have never been one to read military books/stories. For some reason I got this one recently. I am glad I did. One thing this book showed was the letters some personnel write to wives/girlfriends in case the worst happens. I hope others take a chance on this book and have a good read.
I received this free e-book from and I am voluntarily writing a review. This is the second book of a series about a 4 man Seal Team who make an oath that if one man does not make it home each of the others at designated times will take a letter to their loved one. Bryce is the soldier that did not make it home and this is Jet's fulfillment to take the letter to Bryce's fiancé Darby where he is also introduced to Clementine Bryce's sister.
